lucky penny jo exists because a very opinionated, scrappy, frizzy haired, wide-eyed, springer spaniel who made it clear that accessories are NOT optional. and keenly aware of when something belonged to her. a collar wasn’t just a collar… it was proof… proof that she was seen and she was wanted.

so when life did what life does … completely upended itself… i coped in the healthiest way possible… making things for my dog. one collar turned into another, stumbling upon better materials and different ideas … all while my tiny creative director sat by me on the basement floor, patiently waiting for me to close the last jump ring on her latest collar, pawing at me until i put it on her and then she strutted around with her head held so high.

we wondered how many other pups are desperate to show who they are…and that’s how lucky penny jo, became a business.

we design and hand-assemble dog jewelry and accessories in small batches using durable, dog-safe materials.

our bling is for foster dogs, forever dogs, dogs with trauma, dogs with over blown confidence, dogs who have no idea they are spoiled … but they have suspicions. our brand is about personality, luck and celebrating the quiet truth that dogs seem to instinctively understand…. being chosen matters. being seen is necessary.
